From Penang to Pulau Langkawi

The Book Recommends a place called Pulau Langkawi.
It is an island of the west coast of Malaysia near the Malaysia- Thai border.
Getting there from Penang is easy too.

As there is a ferry that takes us from Penang straight to the lsland.
The ferry sets off at 08:15am and costs £10 each. Which is quite alot, but its a fair distance.

"You'll arrive at one of Malaysia's finest beach destinations, a place to relax, refresh and rejuvenate overlooking the vast Andaman ocean."

"Vehicle rental is cheap and accessible, and the best way to roam around and explore the island."

Renting Vehicles
"In order to drive a car you must be 18 years old in Malaysia and 23 years old to rent a car. In addition you are required to have held your licence for 2 years."

Thats great when we're 18. Sure there are many other forms of transport :D

The best part about Langkawi
Tax-free beer!!!

Apart from that, it looks like it would be a one-night stay and a stopping off point on the way to Krabi.

Moving away from Langkawi
Due to us having 30 days to complete the singapore to changmai course, it will have to be a one night stay in Langkawi, which is fine with me.

The next stop on our way could be Krabi.

First of all, we would have to get a ferry to mainland malaysia, which is at 9:45 am.
This costs £5 each and would get us to Satun at 11:30am.
From Satun we would make our way across land to Krabi.
